Instructor spotlight
Patrick McNamara is a 22-year veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in elite special operations units. During his tenure in the premier special missions unit, he honed his skills to become an outstanding marksman, coupling accuracy with tactical efficacy. Beyond just shooting, McNamara developed a unique training methodology that emphasizes safety, tactical relevance, and a constant thought process. He has imparted this knowledge to a wide range of students, from seasoned soldiers and police officers to civilians. As his Unit's Marksmanship NCO, he founded a marksmanship club affiliated with NRA, CMP, and USPSA, promoting competitive shooting across the Army. Now retired as a Sergeant Major, McNamara is the acclaimed author of T.A.P.S. and Sentinel.
