The Cheat Codes of Shooting 1 is our most popular and widely raved about pistol class. It is a marksmanship class designed for beginner to advanced shooters to improve their overall pistol shooting performance by the end of one day. It varies from other classes in the industry because we share the principles behind modern-day shooting techniques and share the cheat codes we’ve learned from training with nearly 100 different instructors in the past two years. Key learning points regarding stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger press will be taught and demonstrated to improve students’ understanding and application of core skills, followed by various exercises and drills to help students better execute all the techniques that are taught in the class.

Dorr Overby is the co-founder of Tactical Hyve and a retired Navy Seal. He has 20 years with Naval Special Warfare experience ranging from Special Warfare Operator, Lead Sniper, Lead Breacher, Communicator, Range Officer in Charge (OIC), and close quarters battle (CQB) and Weapons Instructor.
